In the summer of 2007, Momzelle came to life when a new mom was looking for something to wear while feeding her baby. Christine felt there must be more options than tugging at layers or exposing her belly. Nursing clothing was almost unheard of at that time. She crafted her own innovative nursing top and was overwhelmed by the response of her midwife and mom friends! They all wanted one too.
She quickly recruited her entrepreneurial-spirited brother, Vincent, and together they started Momzelle with one mission in mind: to help other women feel comfortable and confident breastfeeding in public. The product was so unique and innovative they were picked to pitch their idea on CBC's Dragon's Den, in 2009.
While Momzelle was growing, Vincent got married and began a family of his own. Breastfeeding has an even bigger role in this man’s life! His wife, Sara, nursed their two children while joining the Momzelle team as social media/community manager.
We continue each day working to design the most practical, stylish and comfortable nursing clothes and bras; with a focus on amazing customer service!
